The resort
U Rip Resort Phi Phi Island
U Rip Resort Phi Phi Island sits on the slope of Tonsai Mountain at the eastern end of Tonsai Bay on Koh Phi Phi Don. Tonsai Pier is about 1.3 km away, a walk of around 15 minutes through the village.
The resort opened in 2018 and has 30 rooms. Superior rooms are in a building near reception. The Deluxe Mountain rooms stand higher up the hill and are reached by a five minute walk on stairs.
A freeform swimming pool with a kids' wading pool lies a few steps from the sea. In front of the reception and restaurant a small stretch of water is fenced off for swimming.
The Restaurant and Bar looks out over the bay and is open daily from 07:00 to 20:00. U Rip Coffee and Cafe sells drinks and snacks.
The resort is operated as the partner of Phi Phi Andaman Beach Resort next door.
