Unni's Restaurant

Bagels for breakfast, cocktails at night, right in Tonsai

About

Unni's Restaurant

Unni's has been part of Tonsai village since 2007. This Scandinavian run spot sits on the main lane heading north towards PP Palmtree Resort, with an outdoor wooden terrace and a covered dining room in a bright, cafe style setting.

Mornings are what made its name. Homemade bagels come with toppings from smoked salmon to meatballs, alongside avocado toast, omelettes, a Scandinavian smoked salmon and scrambled egg plate, and bacon, beans and fried eggs for the hangover crowd.

Later the menu spreads out to Thai curries like chicken panang, Swedish meatballs, burritos, nachos, burgers, pastas and tapas. In the evening the bar is busy from around 18:00 for happy hour, with mojitos, espresso martinis, prosecco and an Irish coffee worth trying.
