Phitharom PP Resort sits on the green hillside above Loh Dalum Bay, at the edge of Tonsai Village on Koh Phi Phi Don. Loh Dalum Bay is about 200 metres away, and Tonsai Pier is around a 10 minute walk.
The resort has 50 rooms spread over Thai style villas that climb the slope. Rooms inside a villa can be connected while each keeps its own door, which suits families and groups travelling together.
Rooms have hardwood floors, air conditioning, a fridge, a TV, a safe and a balcony or patio. The higher rooms, such as the Super Deluxe Room, need more climbing but have more private balconies and wider views.
A small outdoor pool sits at the base of the resort, next to a garden and a terrace. From the upper levels the view looks over the rooftops of Tonsai Village towards Loh Dalum Bay.
The hillside is quieter and greener than the village below, yet the bars, restaurants and night street of Tonsai are about five minutes away on foot. There is no lift, so expect many steps to the rooms.
