The resort
Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel
Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel opened in 1990. It stands on the narrow isthmus of Phi Phi Don, between Ton Sai Bay and Loh Dalum Bay, at the edge of Tonsai Village.
Rooms are spread across six low rise buildings. Many look over the Andaman Sea or the bay. All are air conditioned, with tea and coffee facilities, a minibar, bottled water and in room Wi-Fi.
The large outdoor pool is the centre of the hotel, with a palm island in the middle. There is a second pool by the beach and a children's pool.
Four places to eat and drink cover the day: Maya Restaurant for breakfast, Runtee Coffee Shop beside the pool, Beach Terrace Restaurant facing the sea and Jungle Beach Bar on the waterfront of Ton Sai Bay.
Other facilities include Thai massage, three private snooker rooms, an internet room in the lobby and meeting rooms.

- Getting there
- Ferries and speedboats arrive at Tonsai Pier. The boat ride takes about 90 minutes from Krabi and about two hours from Phuket.
- Ferries from Phuket leave Rasada Pier at 08:30, 11:00, 11:30, 13:30 and 15:00.
- Ferries from Krabi leave Klong Jilad Pier at 09:00, 10:30, 13:30 and 15:00.
- Be at the pier at least one hour before departure. Guests landing at Phuket or Krabi airport after noon should stay on the mainland and take a morning boat.
- From Tonsai Pier the hotel is reached on foot through the village.
