P.P. Erawan Palms Resort sits on Laem Tong Beach, which the resort calls the Cape of God. It is the northernmost beach of Phi Phi Don, in the Andaman Sea about 48 km from Phuket.
The resort is built in Thai island style. Villas and bungalows stand apart from each other for privacy, set in gardens of tropical flowers and plants. Coconut covered hills rise behind the grounds.
Laem Tong is a long white sand beach with sunset views. It is quiet and reachable only by boat, with no pubs or discos nearby. Only a handful of resorts share the bay.
Accommodation mixes rooms in a hotel building at the back of the resort with garden, mountain and beachfront bungalows. The resort has two pools: one near the beach and one on the hillside at the back.
Guests eat at Sawasdee Restaurant and drink at SOLO Bar, a beach bar and a pool bar. Snorkel spots such as Bamboo Island and Mosquito Island lie close to the bay.

Location
On Laem Tong, Koh Phi Phi
Laem Tong Beach (Leamtong), northern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don, Krabi. Address: Moo 8, Leamtong, Ao Nang, Krabi 81000.
- Getting there
- Ferries from Phuket (Rasada Pier) and Krabi (Klong Jilad Pier) run to Koh Phi Phi several times a day.
- Some Krabi ferry services stop at Laem Tong Beach directly. Krabi to Laem Tong takes about 2 hours 30 minutes.
- From Tonsai Village the beach is about 45 minutes by longtail boat. Laem Tong can only be reached by boat.
- Arrive at the pier at least one hour before departure. Schedules can change with the weather.
- Guests landing at Phuket or Krabi airport after noon must stay on the mainland and take a morning ferry.
